As principal of Arlington High School, it gives me great pleasure to extend to all of our new and returning students, faculty and staff, and our greater school community a warm welcome to Arlington H.S. In seven short years, AHS has developed into a school rich in a tradition of excellence in Academics, Athletics and the Fine Arts.  AHS has consistently met and exceeded the academic benchmarks as set forth by the Tennessee Department of Education.    I am proud to announce that our past two graduating classes have exceeded $13 million in college scholarships. Our greatest assets in building our legacy will be continuing the rich collaboration that we have developed between our students, educators and parents.

As your principal, I can assure you that our school will continue to provide all the resources needed to further the cause for even greater student achievement. Offering our students the latest in curriculum enhancements in a safe, state-of-the-art learning environment will continue to be our primary focus throughout the 2009-2010 school year. It is in the spirit of meeting this challenge, that I invite the Arlington High School community to partner with our students, teachers, guidance counselors and administrators in helping to pave the way to another great year.

I believe that as we continue to grow and develop, there will be endless new horizons of rich student engagement with greater student achievement. I look forward to seeing all of you at our school functions and working with you throughout the 2009-2010 school year.
